This policy describes how the Teamnotes app by Sunriserain collects, uses, and protects your data. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
What data we collect
- Google Calendar data — events, calendars, times, titles, descriptions, and attendees you explicitly grant access to when connecting your Google account.
- Authentication data — OAuth access token from Google to interact with the Calendar API. Stored only on your device.
- Technical logs — anonymous crash reports via Sentry, without event content or personal data.
How we use the data
- To display your events and calendars in the app interface.
- To create, edit, and delete events on your behalf.
- To sync changes with Google Calendar in both directions.
Use of Google API data
Sunriserain Teamnotes's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google scopes used:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar— read, create, edit, and delete events and calendars at your direction.
What we do NOT do with Google Calendar data:
- We do not transfer it to third parties, except as needed to operate user-facing features (e.g., to your own device).
- We do not use it for advertising — no targeting, no remarketing.
- We do not sell the data.
- We do not use it to train machine learning models, except for features running explicitly inside your own interface.
- We do not store calendar content on our servers — all requests go directly from your device to Google.
Where data is stored
Google Calendar data is cached temporarily on your device for offline viewing. Calendar content is not stored on our servers.
How to revoke access
- In the app: Settings → Account → Disconnect Google.
- On Google's side: myaccount.google.com/permissions → find Sunriserain Teamnotes → remove access.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from such users.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date of the last update is shown at the top. We will notify you in the app of any material changes.
